About Our School

The St. Thomas English Medium School (STEMS), Chala, Vapi, which aims towards the quality in education for the future generation in the local area is a part of more than One Thousand Educational Institutions all over India which are run by the Mar Thoma Church of Malabar. St. Thomas English Medium School at Vapi, which is CBSE Affiliated (Affiliation No. 430299), is run by the Western India Zonal Assembly of Mumbai Diocese of the Mar Thoma Church, which has its head office at Mumbai.

WIZA is a registered body under the Public Trust, (Registration No. 1860), vide Reg. No. MAH/BOM/260/90 (Public Trust Registration No: F 13893 BOM). The Rt. Rev. Dr. Euyakim Mar Coorilos Suffragan Metropolitan, (Bishop of Mumbai Diocese) is the Chairman of the Trust and President of the group of St. Thomas Schools in the Diocese of Mumbai. At present, WIZA is running a Senior Higher Secondary English Medium School in Surat, English Medium Primary Schools at Lonavala, Bhuj, and Ahwa, and the Higher Secondary School at Vapi. In addition to this WIZA is running social projects like Navjeevan Centre, Navodaya Movement, Special Schools for differently abled children, and several village hostels.

STEMS Vapi, which is entering its successful 11th year, is now on the path of progress by creating ample infrastructure, novel and innovative methods of teaching, creative and dynamic inputs toward learning, and many more. The school is situated in the heart of Vapi city in the Chala area over more than four acres of land in an eco-friendly atmosphere.
