With Immense Joy and pleasure, I welcome you to the website of St. Thomas English Medium School, Vapi. You could be a Parent, a student, a staff member, or a well-wisher interested in gaining a deeper understanding and insights into the vision and mission, functioning, and learning environment of our little world. St. Thomas English medium school is a tower of light to the world. The motto of our School is Tama so ma Jyotir gamaya, an Indian prayer, to dispel the darkness of ignorance, pride, injustice, and exploitation. It calls people to be the torch bearers of virtues. The aim of the STEMS is to make a child a better person. We give importance to character formation in the changing paradigm of education which holds no space for the morale to be molded. We inculcate the human values of compassion, love, and respect for others.

We equip the child to be a better citizen in our country and to actively participate in nation-building. Through giving education we enable a child to become more efficient to achieve with increasing facility, to attain the ultimate goals of his life. We also train our students for quick, resolute, and effective thinking. In our school, we give students the right perception of life and direct them to think beyond what is manifested.

We believe that the function of education is to teach one to think intensively, to think critically, and to act compassionately.

The mission and vision of STEMS are to bring out intellectually trained, morally upright, spiritually motivated, and socially committed citizens for our great nation.
